The cause of patriarchy
The question of the root of patriarchy has troubled feminists for a long time. Someone, following male logic, linked patriarchy with the emergence of private property; someone, just like the men, labelled the cause of patriarchy to be male physical strength and the deprivation of this strength in women; someone, also following men, associated patriarchy with women's ability to become pregnant and give birth, allegedly making women vulnerable. What is the fatal mistake of these feminists? That they followed the male discourse.

Let's start with the definition of patriarchy. It is impossible to find a reason for something that is not properly defined. Traditionally, patriarchy refers to the rule of men. The inaccuracy of this definition is the pitfall leading to the identification of the wrong causes of patriarchy. So, patriarchy is the usurpation of female reproductive capacity by men. In other words, the institutions of patriarchy, its manifestations are aimed at capturing, appropriating the female ability to create new lives.

What is the reason for patriarchy? In male envy of the female ability to create new lives. From this envy was born a violent hatred of a woman. And hatred led to the violent and organized seizure of power by the sons from their mothers. From this we can deduce a more precise definition of patriarchy: it is the usurpation by the sons of maternal power to create new lives.

The reason for patriarchy is the male psyche, the men themselves, our sons. The issue is with them and only them. Not in the emergence of private property, not in physical strength, not in the vulnerability of women during pregnancy and childbirth, not in the "natural course of history", not in "progress". The cause of patriarchy is the man, his envy, then hatred, followed by violence in order to cease women's reproductive rights.

Patriarchy is not "by nature’s design", it is unnatural. We should not try to rehabilitate patriarchy, accommodate it, try to squeeze ourselves into the system built by our sons. This system will not collapse on its own - we must do it.

It is difficult for us to recognize the cause of patriarchy because the truth is too bitter. It is unbearably hard to put up with the fact that the fault is in the sons. And to overthrow the patriarchy means to rise up against the disobedient sons who thought too much of themselves.

Conclusion. Cause of patriarchy: male envy and hatred of the female ability to create new lives. Patriarchy is the seizure by sons of maternal power to create new lives.
