Not so long ago, feminists used to prove that women are capable of flying a plane, solving equations, climbing mountains, and doing business just as well as men are. This approach essentially cannot be called fully feminist since it hides a thinking trap. In modern society (but in fact, it has always been like this), a man is taken for a universal and a woman for a deviation. Therefore, it seems pretty logical to try to prove that women do not differ from men, and because of that, women should have equal rights with men. On the other hand, if you look at this problem from a different angle, from the perspective of a female approach, discarding the patriarchal rose-coloured glasses, the situation is completely different.
From the very outset, a woman and a man are not equal to such an extent that this difference generates a natural hierarchy in the relationships between the sexes. Under natural conditions, a male cannot stand above a female since he is literally created by her. Nature itself has defined the position of a male as that of a secondary being.
The key difference between a woman and a man lies in a woman's ability to create new lives, which makes a woman a full-fledged unit, not just the basis of humankind but the whole humanity. And the consequences of this difference are tremendous.
A woman, as a creator of new lives, created everything necessary to support a life. In order to feed the children when there is no breast milk, a woman guessed to take milk from animals. In order to dress people up, a woman invented weaving. To feed people, a woman invented agriculture, irrigation systems, and domesticated animals. In order to live in comfort and safety, a woman invented dwellings, buildings, and medicine.
The matriarchal civilizations of the past had everything. For example, The Harappan (Indus) matriarchal civilization that existed in the Indus Valley in the third millennium BC consisted of cities with full-fledged architecture. The Harappan Civilization had a writing system, a system of standardized weights and measures, arts, metal processing, weaving, and sewerage systems. From thirty-five to a hundred thousand people lived in great cities with thoughtful layouts. The archaeologists have found neither a single mention of a war nor a single mention of a male ruler. The religious component of civilization was built around the cult of the Mother Goddess. Apparently, there was no significant social stratification in society. The Minoan civilization also excites admiration; it is widely known for its palaces, complex buildings, developed trade, writing, and arts.
All the civilizations during pre-patriarchal times were built up and existed under women's governance. Women wisely guided societies, developing the arts, construction technologies, agriculture, trade, weaving, astronomy, etc. The absence of wars, insignificant social stratification, worshiping the Mother Goddess, the leading role of a woman, advanced technologies, art, architecture—all of these are the distinctive features of matriarchal civilizations. So, the second crucial difference between a woman and a man is that a woman has created everything necessary to maintain life.
The third distinction between a woman and a man is a result of a woman's ability to create new lives as well. A man is not able to understand the values of human life or any other life. A man is a deeply selfish creature, thinking only about himself, even to the detriment of others. He cannot live by the principle "Do not do to anyone the same thing that you do not wish for yourself". (At best, a man can only imitate human qualities.) That is exactly why a man with such ease destroys everything on his way, exterminating animals, women, plants, polluting oceans and space. For a one-minute pleasure, a man invented a whole porn industry: he watches how women are being tortured and anguished and ejaculates from the sight. For the sake of obtaining wealth and nonstop consumption, he sucked all the resources out of the planet, cut down forests, and fouled the water and air. But it's never enough. Today, a man voluptuously gazes at the sky and craves to find other planets to violate and destroy as well. A man doesn't bother about the consequences; he values only his own satisfaction.
The fourth dissimilarity between a woman and a man is that women at the collective level do not have trauma from feelings of inferiority: men are infuriated by the fact that they are not able to create a life. Patriarchy is literally based on the violent, bloody usurpation by men of women's ability to create people. For this purpose, the institutions of marriage, forced heterosexuality, and heteronormativity function. Only by having a woman in his power can a man "give birth through her."
At the religious-mythical level, men ascribed to themselves primacy and divinity, which was reflected in the image of god the father; they appropriated the ability to create, calling themselves creators. The idea of a man creating a life runs like a red thread through patriarchal culture. If in the Middle Ages alchemists tried to create a homunculus from sperm, today men make films and write books in which they create artificial wombs, robots, and clones.
So, the ability to create new lives is a key link and the source of incredible distinction between a man and a woman. Only the one who can create can be considered a complete human, a full-fledged unit, and an originator. A man who is physically unable to create people is devoid of humanity; he does not know what life is and has no idea of its value. He does not need to take care of life to maintain its quality; he is left to himself, creating atrocities without pondering the consequences. All the key achievements that humanity has made now belong to women. Stop saying that a woman practically does not differ from a man and therefore should have equal rights with him. It must be said that a man has never been equal to a woman and will never be, and after all the evil that he has caused to women and the planet, he can hardly have any rights at all, except the right to redemption.
